You know that cliche of how did I end up in this situation? typically the one asking actually has no idea. Well, unfortunately for me, I know exactly what I went and did to end up here. As I stand here looking over the horrendous scene before me, I can pinpoint the exact moment that s**t hit the fan. The moment I made the law of my pack and myself not needing or wanting a Luna to rule. My beautiful mate was covered in blood and barely breathing, knowing I could have prevented this four years ago, but also knowing she truly is the Luna to help lead this pack.
"Do you feel that?" Selene was smiling now, my arms began to feel the electricity on my head and then my arms. "Adaline?"she nodded "Yes she is right by you she knows you are hurt and upset, she has already noticed her touched calmed you down, I\'m going to send you back to do the right thing here Barrett, but I do have to warn you. The pack will accept their Luna but there is war coming because of this so be prepared, with your mate and the bond intact you are at your strongest remember that." Then she was gone and I was back in the darkness, I wanted to wake up and see Adaline, I need to hold her to be with her, but I couldn\'t I can not get my eyes to open. I felt the electricity all over my arms and torso at this point so my mind calmed and I started to finally rest and heal.
