It is often said that a bad prophecy, once revealed, can be remedied. This was the believe of Alpha Riggs when he learns his son is doomed for destruction when he finds his mate at eighteen. To avoid this, the alpha sends his only son and future alpha of the Midnight pack away, shielding him from females and at the same time training him to be one of the strongest alpha's to ever walk the planet. Years go by and it is time for him to take up his role as the alpha of the pack so he returns, but not after the alpha is sure the prophecy has been rendered null and void.

Declan McPherson is the hot twenty one year old future alpha who is yet to discover his mate. He has females drooling over him, but none matches his taste, none is his mate. His wolf wants none other than the one made for him. He soon finds out that his mate is the same one rumored to be cursed. He is willing to do anything to relieve her of the burden, even if it means giving his life in the process. He is forced to reject her or loose the throne. Midnight pack would not have one who is cursed as their Luna, and Alpha Riggs would not cross his arms and see everything he has labored for, including his family, crumble to pieces.
Did his father do the right thing sending him away? Or did he only succeed in delaying the prophecy?
