Bathroom.

Dresser.

Around the bed.

Repeat.

I paced, fiddling with the end of my braid. Tugging it apart, then starting it again with fingers that couldn't seem to stop trembling. My stomach felt more knotted than my hair did. I hadn't thrown up yet, but the possibility was certainly there.

I wish he'd just get this over with.

I'd been locked in Declan's bedroom for nearly two hours now, based on the alarm clock I'd found on the nightstand.

Alone.

Rowan and Liam had had to physically pull me away from the cell - I'd been holding the bars behind me with panicky desperation.
