Hearing her soft voice and meeting those beautiful eyes, Archer takes a deep breath in and is finally able to suppress it all. Josie opens the door and moves to get out. Archer doesn’t want to leave it with this awkward atmosphere.
His body acts before his mind can process the fact. He grabs her hand, holding it tightly.
"Josie, I have enjoyed our random meetings today"
Her blue eyes sparkle as she looks at him, the green flecks dance around in an enchanting and hypnotic dance. Archer wonders how long he could stare at them, whether he would forget to blink, he might stare until his eyes crusted over and he went blind.
Josie smiles forgetting all her iron-clad convictions and just seeing those golden eyes. She has enjoyed the meetings even with her mind in turmoil. It can’t change ……
