I felt humiliated and the embarrassment I faced could only increase when Xavier decided to speak like this to me in front of many who held me in high esteem. I felt really sad with the way he talked to me and after all that I did for him to reciprocate his likeness for me.
My eyes were saddened with hurtful emotions as I stared at him. "I know that I did so much for you, I liked you so much and hoped you would do the same. But you rather choose to offend so many people for a despicable woman like Doris and embarrass yourself in front of everyone here." I shook my head and quickly glanced at Barron and then back to Xavier.
"I will only be insulting myself if I still choose you after all these humiliations. I will instead choose your brother, Barron." I sighed as I caught the ……
