Diane’s POV.
No words left my mouth, I just stared in surprise. The elderly man had a satisfied look on his face as he leaned back in his chair.
“Diane, right?” He corrected his ‘mistake’. “My bad.”
“How-w?” I stuttered. “How d-did you-u know?”
“Know what?” He played dumb. “Is there something you’d like to share with us?”
I could hear my heart pounding in my ear, who are these people?
“Witches, we’ve said that already,” the younger girl spoke with a roll of her eyes.
“What?” I faced her. Wasn’t that in my head only? Gar I mistakenly said it out?
“You don’t have to say anything, it’s all on your face. You’re predictable.”
I had no idea how old she was but for whatever age, she spoke so rudely,
“Okay child,” I nodded in mockery.
Her face turned a bright red before she opened her mouth to speak and then……
