“We're missing something,”

It had been a couple of days since I got a lead on the investigation regarding the attack at the amusement park.

I had sent Bruce to continue with the undercover investigation.

I already had plans for assigning him his role tasks because of how much potential he had, but that would come after we get to the root of the current issues and resolve them.

Even with that, I kept having this feeling that something was off.

I could not decipher what it was, which made me even more unsettled.

Another thing is that I had not seen a glimpse of Diane for the past few days but yet, she did not leave my mind.

For some reason, I could not stop thinking about her. I would randomly have thoughts of her and even had to hold myself back from intentionally seeking her out.
