This is not the end of the story. I understand it may sound like that. But it is important to the end that Ember realizes that she was still carrying baggage and that she finally realized that its time to let it go. To know that while trauma can not be undone or erased it is a choice in becoming a survivor. Lost of abused people have to fight everyday of there live to make the choice in getting better. I am a survivor. i am 34. Even though i got out away and have been with my own Blaze for 11 years somedays i still have to make the choice, i still have to work on myself. Which brings me to i cant change the past but i can change the frame. This and a few other word in the paragraph came from a song. Tattoos by Citizen Solider his music talks alot about past trauma and healing from it.If you know anyone going through it and want to be there for them just remember be patient be kind and love them for everything they are.
