Nerina's POV
"Did you find your mate again?" I asked when Nova became quiet.
"Yes... but he died in my arms..."
She turned around and walked back to me, taking a seat on the couch again.
"How did he die?" I asked, shocked.
"From old age," she smiled and wiped the tears from her face.
"My mate searched for me while I was dancing the sky away, never giving up on finding me... but the time I spent with my sisters, dancing and having fun in the sky had its consequences... Soon minutes changed to days, and days to years... we couldn't keep track of time..." Nova brushed another stray tear from her face before she continued, "and soon eighty years have passed... When I stopped dancing, remembering my mate's perfect face, I panicked... I left at the speed of light, hoping I wasn't too……
