AT THE SAME TIME
AT ISABELLA'S POV:
The cool night air brushed against my skin as I crouched behind a dense tree. A flicker of satisfaction warmed me leaving them had been the right choice. I had known this day would come, the culmination of everything that had gone wrong. There was a small, stubborn part of me that felt relieved to be away from the chaos, from Noah's undeserved love and female lead taking everything I had in this world. But then, I heard the distinct sound of hooves approaching, growing louder and louder. I carefully peered through the branches and saw Noah riding with a group of guards, his face etched with worry.
"Noah, please." I whispered to myself, trying to stay out of sight. "I don’t want to be found."
