Marcus’ POV
‘What??’ I demand, my voice echoing off the light coloured walls around us as I bolt to my feet, staring at the woman as she fiddles with a pen on her desk, avoiding me again.
‘It’s not as bad as it sounds’ Brandy replies quickly.
‘You want me to pose naked for a calendar Brandy, how can it not be as bad as it sounds?’ I scoff bitterly, throwing myself back into my chair and crossing my arms over my chest. ‘And why me? Why not one of the other assholes on the team!’
Brandy throws up her hands in exasperation, ‘because half the team is already contracted to the LHL weekend’ she retorts, meaning the Little Hockey League that is a yearly weekend camp where selected kids get to come and spend the weekend training and playing with a group of the team. We ro……
