Allies on the Surface World

The nightmare that plagued Ifrit was a result of a very recent trauma he suffered, which was part of the reason of his escape to the surface world. Lilac cared a lot for the hellhound, which made her understood his plight while also learning more about his past. Soon, however, they found that the hellhounds hunting him were motivated by pure hatred against royalties, which Ifrit was part of. As a former prince of the Schelkz family, he became the target of these disaffected hellhounds. This chapter was made to explore the darker side of a supposedly 'patriotic' revolution that shook the stability of a civilization. However, unlike real-life revolutions with a certain reason, this revolution was made out of pure spite, and in turn it apparently robbed the sanity of those taking part in it into something less virtuous and more of a cannon fodder to the Royal hellhounds, who were revealed to be natural fighters honed by training or survival skills.
