THE GREAT STEPPE

AT LONG LAST...we have the beginning of the dreaded battle. In all honesty, it did take me more time than I wanted to reach this stage, but I felt that character development for the newcomers and tying up some loose ends was essential for a coherent story. Now for the real excuse xD Seeing as I wanted to try something different, I decided to go on a little venture with this battle and went ahead to tell its tale, not in the eyes of Angelo and the UAT alone, but everyone else as well, and that will include the opposition. And so, I will jump back and forth between the multiple units scattered in different places to include their perspectives on the "here and now." This is why the 2nd half of this volume is dedicated to this confrontation alone. More than 70k words worth of bloodshed have been dedicated to this cause, so I hope you are ready for it ;)
