Tianu was on the ramparts already when he saw the royal convoy galloping towards the city. They looked like they were in a hurry and he recognize the king. He saw they had what it seemed to be a wounded guard and when he realized who that one was, he gave specific orders for the healer to be present in the hall and the fire intensified hoping for not too bad news.
He hurried at the gates and let the people know to be respectful as the king is visiting. He noticed he did not have many guards with him and was already afraid of some unpleasant consequences, as the people of the south would find out pretty fast that the king was in Beranburg and he did not have much guards with him. But right now, his only interest was to find out how was Iris and what can he do for her.
