When we returned to the pack house, Ben pulled us aside and let Oliver know that two hunters from each of the hunter packs would be accompanying him to Dark Moon. He said that he already called and cleared it with Lyall. He told Oliver that their flight to Tennessee would be leaving at midnight.
We went to his room and I helped him pack up for a week at Dark Moon. I could feel my wolf whimpering in my head. She didn’t want our mate to leave.
Even though I knew we needed this for our future, I didn’t like it either. Oliver pulled the picture of me from the dossier and put it in his bag. When he saw me looking, he walked over and wrapped his arms around me.
