Chapter 13: Did she really just--?

Sorry for the late update... Been prepping for the storm (I live in FL) Two major differences between the wolves in my storyline from others on here: 1) wolves can speak aloud while in their wolf forms, & 2) they can learn to retain their clothes when they shift. This is because they are magick creatures here, not scientific, so their transformations aren't painful, bone-breaking transitions, but mostly painless magickal ones. If witches can use spells & vampires can compel, then it stands to reason modern wolves can learn to use a tiny bit of magick to allow speech & reduce awkward confrontations. If enough people want to know more about my reason for doing this, I'll post a Q&A after a chapter one of these nights, but I think my reasoning is sound. BTW, since I'm in TS Nicole's path, I'll try to have the rest of this week's chapters scheduled before the worst of it hits & I lose power X_X if all goes well, I'll have power again before next Monday... Hopefully.
