Stella seemed to now understand why Silas spoke like that earlier. The act of promoting the Alpha in certain ways was similar in this pair.

Stella's eyes dropped in confusion. It wasn't hard to accept that they were mates. Her own wolf said it and so did this Alpha. It was simply so shocking that the place this news was supposed to settle in was now a rocking surface in her mind.
