Belle's Point Of View*
Every time he comes home, we meet secretly to talk. He seems to know that I don't speak when my Stepmother and Marga are next to me.
"My Daughter, tell me why you don't want to talk when your stepmother is with us?"
I was right, he knew about this but I lower my head down because I didn't want this to make my work and responsibilities worse.
"It's nothing, Daddy."
He sighed.
"You and your mother have a lot in common."
I looked at him because of what he said. Mommy? He just mentioned Mommy.
"Daddy, what do you mean? What do I have in common with Mommy?"
He smiled and patted my head.
"You and your Mom look alike and you have the same attitude. But in the color of your hair, eyes and complexion you inherited from me."
My face is the same as Mom's? I haven't seen her face yet becau……
