"So how exactly do you go about marking your mate?" Jo asked as she tugged at the frayed sleeve of her favorite flannel. It was actually one that Isaac had given her one night on a hunt years ago and it had kind of become her comfort blanket recently. Isaac reached over and squeezed her hand, chuckling at how nervous she seemed to be. "How are you laughing right now?!"
"I survived Hell... more than once so I'm not exactly pissing my pants over shifting. I mean, how many demons and creatures have we turned into or been possessed by over the years? This should be a walk in the park."
"Yeah, I'd much rather be a were than a demon any day of the week. You should know that," Alex chimed in with a grin for their long time friend.
