ARIEL’S POV
Davis had prepared an amazing meal for us to eat. We had to put Will to sleep together before I changed into something more comfortable and came out as soon as I could.
Deep down, I was very excited about the whole arrangement. I had never been on a house date, but it didn’t seem like a bad idea entirely.
“You look nice.” Davis complimented the flowery blue gown I was putting on while he helped me with my chair.
The aroma from the food was still cascading into my nostrils, and I couldn’t wait to dig in as fast as I could. I purposefully didn’t go out for lunch that day just to avoid Fred totally.
“I hope you like what I made, Diana. It’s an old recipe I learned from the woman who raised me.” Davis said while dishing out the food carefully. He was eager for me to taste the food h……
