LUKE’S POV
An hour had passed since I brought Sylvia to the hospital, but no one had said anything to me. I was afraid that something was going to happen to the baby, and that made me realize that I really cared.
I hated the fact that I was in that situation, I didn’t like to be on the edge. But for a long time, that seemed to be the only thing I had learned how to do. So many situations were making me very anxious, and I wondered when I was going to be alright.
First, I tried to speak to all the nurses, but they all seemed to be in a hurry except one who was kind enough to speak to me.
“Relax, Sir. You need to calm down, we are doing everything that possible to handle the situation.” Her words were not comforting, but I was glad that she didn’t ignore me like the others.
