"Dad, the deal happened three years ago. I don't think anyone even remembers it," I stated cautiously.
"Then you're wrong, Vin. No one has forgotten about it. In fact, Mr. Bianchi was asking to set a date for your engagement and subsequently for the wedding," Dad added.
"What?!" I grimaced. "No way. I will not marry that girl whose name I don't even know," I refused sternly.
"Listen, Vin, a deal is a deal. He helped us when we needed it desperately, and now it's our time to fulfill our commitment," Dad said curtly.
"I understand, Dad, and I also value our deal. We can try to offer him something else. But marriage?! That's too much to ask," I protested, shaking my head resolutely.
