CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
"Here we are," the fugitive said, and Lava realised she couldn't avoid the decision any longer. "Union Station is the hub of everything. If you want to leave, I won't stop you. You can take some time off with drugs and hookers on the third floor, you can't miss it," she chuckled, looking out the hatch.
Lava shook her head. "Not my thing."
"Well, good, because you don't seem to carry any credits on you, and I couldn't give you a loan anyway. Not with this baby needing a refill," Mila said, slapping the bulkhead. She seemed to have an unhealthy attraction to the rocket. It didn't make sense. It was a piece of junk, rusty and ancient, it was supposed to be crumbling around them. But they had escaped on it, even outsmarted her forces.
No, Lava realised. Not her forces. She was no ……
