Hudson's P.O.V
She turned, the picture frame clutched in the palm of one hand as the other traced the face of the young boy in the photo. She looked lost in thought, no scratch, that she looked broken, fragile and most of all she looked defeated. I sat rooted in my spot still not sure of what to say as I watched her.
A tear slipped from her eyes, rolling down her pretty pink cheeks as she fluttered her eyes closed, inhaling deeply. When she spoke again her voice broke, and it took everything in me not to claim her in my arms and hold her close.
