Everything went smoothly according to me, but what the hell just happened? She was smiling and happy. She was even watching me sleep. I was left thinking what the hell I did wrong or if it was something I had said. I tried to think but nothing came to mind. Does she regret last night? Was that the reason for her melting down?

I couldn't figure out what it was, but I was certain that if I was the one that did or said something she wouldn't want me near her. She wouldn't even have allowed me to help her get cleaned up and tuck her back into my bed. She refused to eat anything and within moments she had drifted off to sleep.

I sat on the couch at the far side of my room watching her... what is she hiding from me? Who had hurt her so badly that it drove her to react ……
