50. Long way to go

After the meeting I've been anxious to get the hell out of Valkyrie and Rob's cottage. The building itself is fine, great actually, and I wouldn't mind spending some alone time there during summer. But the murderous glares from Ethan and a few others made me worried that they might strangle me or spike my drink. I may be stronger than all of them, not counting Val, but I'm still mortal.

I haven't even stopped to talk with my parents. Mom looked so sad, that it's been slicing my soul, and I know that if she would have asked me to keep this charade going I would have caved. My Mother is the warmest and most carrying woman I know, it's simply hard for me to let her down.

My Dad on the other hand hasn't spoken the entire meeting, and it was terrifying. I can bear my Dad's yelling and disapprovin……
