“HURRY!” The knights guarding the gates shouted as they urged the coaches to hurry up since a large swarm of beasts and monsters were closely chasing them from behind. Although there were archers shooting them down, that is just to delay the large group of beasts and monsters and to also temporarily separate the carriages from their chasers.
“Are we going to die?” Melton heard one of the knights on the carriages behind asked.
“Don’t think so negatively. The gates are just ahead of us. We will make it!” his friend told him as he hit the horse, which neighed and kicked its hooves stronger against the ground, pulling the carriage further forward.
Melton’s carriage finally entered the gates, followed by another carriage…
“We will really die!” The knights on the last carriage cried as their tea……
