Leui and Gie turned, startled, after they heard the voices behind them speaking the same words. They looked at the people, and also Mhir, kneeling on the ground and having their eyes closed while chanting…? Or praying? They thought that the people were kneeling because they were afraid and their knees weakened due to fear towards the dragon.
But, it seems like they are actually praying!
“Mhir knows this prayer?!” Gie exclaimed in surprise as he looked at Mhir praying together with the humans. Although she is a dwarf, this doesn’t make her look out of place as, right now, she looks like one of the humans as she prays with them, not a word more or less.
She is a dwarf, but she is praying a human prayer. Mhir is really a strange dwarf.
