***Nyx POV***

I knew I had to act. 

My light was about to be overpowered by the Sun. 

I had to act.

I couldn't let another innocent soul meant for greatness end up in that child's hands.

I couldn't let Cassandra fall even further, even more beyond our reach. 

So I descended right into this girl's room.

When I had fully taken form, she slightly shifted in her sleep. 

"You sense my presence."

Another moment of silence.

"You must sense I'm not here to harm you. I am only here to help you fulfill your destiny, child,"

Cassandra opened the door.

She looked like she had just seen a ghost.
