Happy New Year!

It was gradually getting to the time when the fireworks we're going to be let off and he could finally celebrate his birthday with his friends. And hopefully get a New Year’s kiss if Courtney yes she was only elven but she seemed more academically grown than his sister.and their friends. He listened to Brandon's and Lawrence's conversation about Courtney. He had to laugh Courtney was cleverer than both of them our together she'd give him that for that's for sure she'd surely recognise him from the day we were playing another in my basement when Ashton prick had to take the piss out of her.

I watched as Lawrence made his way over to them. God I pitied him right now.

Brandon

I smiled looking over at Courtney I knew the moment Lawrence mentioned going over to talk to her I knew he'd be in deep s**t. And I think he knew it too. But I managed to convince him differently.

Me and Ace both knew she would string his balls up after he laughed along with Ashton when she was at Ace's. Bug I guess he forgot about that.

'Your evil dude."

"I know." I chucked.

Ace shuck his head grinning trying to suppress his laughter.

'She's going to tear him a new arsenal home you know that right?"

"Yep." I laughed, Ace joining in.

We watched their interactions and my brother looked pissed. Nought new simone looked disgusted at him. The rest hated him as much as they hated Ashton.

She shot daggers at him at the first sign to run like hell is on fire. But Lawrence being the dumb ass he is he chose to stick around and eventually ahd stated to talk to him we lokked at each other thinking the same thing he'd apologised to her but we knew Lawrence well he never apologised even when he was in the wrong.

Courtney

This Lawrence guy was going as bad as I thought he would be. He was chatty and funny. I knew my friends didn't like him but I wanted to give him a chance to prove to me he wasn't like Ashton, a complete moron.

My dad shouted across the garden. "It's almost time everyone!"

Everyone finally gathered in the garden dad had a massive timer in the house and our in the garden.

Everyone gathered in our largely acquired garden and the countdown began.

Mom let off the fireworks wraith bangs and whistles showering the sky with bright colours.

Me and my friends alm hugged each other wishing each other a happy new year.

I turned to wish Lawrence a happy new year abc he done something unexpectedly.

His lips pressed on mine for a mere second. He moved black and I looked at him shocked.

Ace

I was fuming. How dare he, how dare he kiss her I should’ve been the one to see the new year in with and kiss her f*****g prick. I can't believe my best friend Lawrence Barraman kissed my girl. Well she technically wasn't my girl but she would be in the future. I'd I managed to keep him and Brandon away from her for long enough.

The fireworks were still being let off fueling my anger.

I looked at Brandon he looked like I felt. I could feel the anger radiating off him. His jaw was clenched and his fists were bailed.but there was someone more pissed than us, Ashton Barraman.

Ashton

I glared angrily, my fists were valid and my jaw clenched . He was the guy I looked up to all my life. He knew how I felt about Courtney Mendez but yet I'd watched him for the past hour talking, laughing and joking with her.

It was like he was throwing everything I had told him about her back in my face. I was going to get her for this.

"Hey they you are, where have you been?"

I looked at Tucker. "Here."

"You okay man? You look naked."

"Yoh would be if you saw your der brother kiss a girl old enough to be just younger sister. "

"So who did he kiss?"

"You're sister."

"He what?!"

I grinned step one complete as I watched him storm away shouting at my brother and dragging Courtney away shooting daggers at Lawrence who stood phased, unsure of what the hell was going on. Step two complete.
