Ryder's POV

Clara is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am very proud of her and how she handled the situation. Not once did she show any jealousy. She is always a lady. She might have had a tough life before coming to me, but the Moon Goddess knew we needed each other. We are blessed to have each other. I will not trade her for anyone else. I know she will never become like Sonia. She also has a vampire side but will never let it rule her. Clara will never become a ripper like Sonia has. I could see the disgust on her face when she looked at Sonia ripping into the poor witch. I should not feel sorry for the witch, but it must be an awful death. I can only imagine how it must feel to be ripped apart by an animal like Sonia. I'm glad to stay, and I'm so happy I killed her.
