HERMIONE'S POV
“Stop the car, Phoenix. I don't want to go with you!” I exclaimed while looking at him, who refused to comply with my wishes. Instead of stopping the car, he stepped on the accelerator and drove it fast, making me sit on my seat.
Is he trying to kill us both?!
“What the f**k, Phoenix?! Are you trying to kill me?!” I yelled as I glared at him angrily.
Phoenix clicked his tongue and lessened the speed of the car. “You won't die.”
“You think you're a god who controls life and death just because you are the Alpha King?” I retorted mockingly.
Phoenix looked at me and solemnly swore. “At least, I, the Alpha King, won't let you die no matter what, so you don't need to fret about anything.”
“You are becoming more and more mad, don't you know, Phoenix?!” I clenched my fist and glared at ……
