Lilly and Kade froze. Coming into the Diamond pack territory were five unknown wolves. Probably rogues who packed up together. They were staring at Kade and Lilly, snarling as they closed in.
Kade sent a quick mind link to the pack about the intruders telling them that he had Lilly with him and to hurry. “Lilly get out of here.” Kade barked and then jumped in front of her transforming into his magnificent red-colored wolf. His wolf was bigger than each of the individual rogues, but there were five of them. He was strong as a beta, but the odds were not in his favor. He strategically placed himself between the rogues and Lilly. His ears laid back flat as he growled at them aggressively.
In sync, they leaped on him. The five wolves using their numbers to take d……
