Dominic POV

A week had passed, and the painting was delivered to my place. I have my room in the castle, but I have my own place. I have kept away from everyone, except my family, and Thiago. I have been so careful, that not even Aline knows I have a separate place from my parents.

The gallery delivered the painting and I couldn't help but take that special piece to my private office here at home. Somehow, that painting spoke to me directly.

Hours passed, and I kept replaying last week's events. Miss Ling was captivating, and I felt this strange pull toward her. I picked up my phone and saw several missed calls from Aline, and ignoring the fact that those calls were accompanied by several messages, one more urgent than the other, looking for me, I dialed Thiago's number.
