Rage flashed through me as I stepped back in shock with my brows raised, he marched my confusion and tried to reach out to me but I blocked his hand.
“Did I say something wrong?” The audacity to even ask that question left me dumbfounded. Was he so blind to realize that it was inappropriate for him to ask me such? I was his mate for goodness sake unless he no longer saw me as one but it was not an excuse to act this way.
I bit my tongue from saying the rudest thing to him, so I had to respond through gritted teeth, “I don’t have it.”
His brows snapped together, “How is that even possible? She’s your sister, you are supposed to..”
I didn’t even let him finish, “I said I don’t have it. She’s not my sister! I cannot be associated with a snake like her.”
He folded his arms at me and arched his b……
