Cormac's corruption is complete. He's gambling away pack money at a criminal casino, drinking venom-laced alcohol, publicly associating with Mordaunt, and being validated by the supernatural underworld as a cooperative Alpha. Meanwhile, Callum's offering support and trust, completely unaware. The tragedy is that Cormac knows what he's doing is wrong and does it anyway because stopping would mean admitting he was never strong enough to be Alpha on his own merits.
