Keira walked out alone she was still vexed she had detention tomorrow night cause she’d broken Dominic’s nose even though she’d explained to the principal what has happened.

‘This is so f*****g not fare.’ She muttered to herself as she left the principal’s office after school.

‘So you’re still here?’

She turned. f*****g great this was all she f*****g needed right now.

They walked over to her. ‘So all you got was a slap on the wrist whilst Dom got a suspension. I hardly think that’s fair do you?’

‘He touched me inappropriately, what the f**k did he expect? Me to stand there and take it?’

‘You let other boys, so why not him?’

‘I do f*****g not, where do you get this s**t from anyway?’

‘We know everything Keira, you slut.’

She cut her eyes.

‘You think you're going to be safe hanging around with Christian and his cousins, well let me tell you something for nothing you’re not. You’ve made your one mistake now you have to deal with us.’

‘I’m not scared of you.’

‘She was right you know.’

‘Who was right?’

‘Tiffany, she said that once you saw her and Christian together you’d f**k him off.’

She looked at them s**t this was all planned, f*****g b***h slut.

‘That’s right honey she’s my f*****g sister and she won’t stop at anything til she gets what she wants and right now it’s Christian. She doesn’t give a f**k that he doesn’t want her, but once you’re out of the picture she’ll be able to get what she wants him.’

She laughed out loud. ‘If he doesn’t want her now, what makes you think he will want her once I’m gone?’

‘Cause, we’ll make sure he knows the real you.’

‘And what is that exactly?’

‘A w***e after his money.’

She laughed. ‘I don’t need anyone's money, especially his. Maybe you’re mistaking me for someone  else, like your sister.’

‘That’s it b***h I’ve had about enough of your shit.’

‘What are you going to do about it?’

‘This.’

He lounged forward attacking her, she side-stepped on him and he fell to the ground. His friend tried the same and fell flat on his face. She laughed, unaware she was being watched.

They got up just to be knocked back down. ‘Is that the best you’ve got?’

They pounced at her, she jumped in the air wrapping her legs around them spinning them and they stumbled to the ground, she spun kicking the next in the face. They both got up and ran at her, she jumped up, kicking them in the face she was finally caught off guard as one went to the back of her grabbing her arms and holding them back ad the other looked her in the eyes. ‘Who are you?’

‘Keira Blackwood.’

His fist shot across her face. ‘Who are you?’

‘Keira Blackwood.’ She stated again.

He punched her again. ‘I’ll ask you again who are you?’

‘Keira Blackwood.’

He went to punch her again then the gun was fired, they snapped their heads around she smirked. ‘Who the f**k are you?’

‘Satan.’  He ginned.

‘Well f**k off we're in the middle of something.’

‘And if you touch her again I won’t f*****g miss.’

‘We aren’t scared of you.’

He cranked his gun pulling the trigger back. ‘Get in the car, Keira.’

She nodded and head-butted the guy in front of her before running for the car, she jumped in closing the door.

Alex joined in seconds later blood on his shirt.

‘Are they dead?’

‘No, just a warning. Are you okay?’

‘Yeah, thanks.’

He nodded. ‘Seat belt.’

‘I can walk home.’

‘It’s getting late."

‘Bu...’

‘I’d like to see you get home safely.’

‘But aren’t you here to pick up the rebels?’

‘I am, but they’re running late again.’

‘They have detention.’

‘Great not again.’ He grumbled.

She chuckled. 

‘I’ll drop you off and come back for them. I guess your parents will be worried about you.’

‘Yeah, they will.’

He pulled away, she buckled up.

‘May I ask you something, Keira?’

‘Sure.’

‘Where did you learn to fight like that?’

‘You saw?’

‘Yeah, I also saw them try to take you out. I would’ve intervened earlier but you looked like you were handling it quite well.’

‘My brother, he does a lot of different martial arts, he taught me everything thing he knew so if I got into s**t I could defend myself. He won’t be too pleased I lost concentration.’

He nodded. ‘So where’s your brother now?’

‘He’s in the army, he’s on tour. He didn’t want to take over from our dad, he had plans for his life which didn’t involve sitting behind a desk for the rest of his life. He liked to get out there and get dirty.’

He nodded. ‘He taught you well Keira.’

She smiled.

He pulled up outside her home. ‘Thanks for what you did back at the school and for giving me a lift to Alex.’

‘My pleasure Darlin.’

‘Can you tell Christian I’m sorry for today, he’ll know what I mean and tell him I’m ready to talk?’

‘Sure Darlin.’

She opened the door and slipped out. ‘Night Alex.’

‘Night Keira.’

She smiled closing the door and waving as he pulled away.

Alex pulled up to the school gates where Christian and the twins were waiting, he opened the door they slid in closing it behind them. ‘Where have you been Alex?’

“I could ask you the same.’

‘Detention. You?’

‘Driving Miss. Keira home.’

‘Why, you her driver now?’ Christian questioned.

‘No.’

‘So why did you?’

‘She got into a little trouble so I offered her a lift.’

‘What kind of trouble?’

‘Buckle up.’

‘Answer me god damn it.’

‘Calm down Christian and put your f*****g seat belt on.’

He huffed putting his seatbelt on. Alex pulled away.

‘What happened Alex, is she okay?’

‘She’s fine. Two dudes cornered her.’

‘See? what did I tell you, Chris? She needs us to protect her.’

Alex laughed.

‘What’s so funny?’

‘That girl doesn’t need protecting.’

‘What do you mean?’

‘She took on two f*****g dudes on, alone. She knows some serious shit.’

‘See I told you.’

‘So let me get this straight she took on Dominic’s henchmen alone?’

Alex nodded.

‘I think I’m in love.’

‘Shut the f**k up,’

‘I only intervened 'cause they grabbed her and stared questioning her and weren’t letting up.’

‘Please tell me you didn’t shoot them?”

He grinned.

‘f**k Alex she’s going to be s**t scared and dad will lift your balls off.’

‘She wasn’t, and it’s not as if I need them anyway.’

‘What you mean she wasn’t scared?’

‘Now that would be telling, wouldn’t it? I knew one thing, we could do with a girl like her.’

‘See, See.’

‘Drop it.’

He raised his eyebrows.

‘They fell out.’

‘That explains the attitude. We’re here guys.’

‘We’ll see you tomorrow Chris and talk to her, say sorry anything. We don’t f*****g care the chick is hot and we want to be friends with her even if you don’t.’

‘We’ll see.’

‘Later Alex.’

‘Later guys.’

‘Tomorrow Chris.’

‘Later guys.’

They slipped out of the car closing the door and Alex pulled away, ‘She said something to me when I dropped her off. I didn’t understand what she meant but now I do,’

‘Why what did she say?’

‘Tell Christian I’m sorry for today, he’ll know what I mean and tell him I’m ready to talk.’

He nodded.

‘Talk to her Christian don’t let this one slip away.’

‘I’ll think about it.’

‘Talk to her Chris, those guys said something to her before the s**t flew and only she knows, talk to her okay stop being so f*****g stubborn. Let her apologise and whatever else she wants to say okay take it from experience okay.’

He nodded.
