Ch. 10 Opening Up the Past

I hope no one takes offense or takes this chapter out of context. I’ve been working with teens for almost 9yrs now, dealing with trauma and s****l abuse cases. It’s always a hard subject to talk about, and sometimes, even harder to hear about if you don’t know what that person has gone through. Not every experience can turn out positive like this scenario, I know. All we can do is hear people out, show empathy, and let them know they don’t have to face this world alone.
