The table was set and my parents were all giddy in their seats ready to meet my friend when the doorbell rang and I went over to open the door.

My parents jumped out and I cast them a look and they sat down back.

"Sorry honey we are just so happy to meet this friend of yours," my dad said and that's not the thing you get from your dad.

I opened the door to see Noah standing there in a button up white shirt and ash pants. He looked well trimmed but the tight expression and his face loosened when he saw me open the door.
