“She is weak and unhealthy. Her blood pressure was low and she had a fever, too. She should rest and work after being fit.”
Hearing the doctor’s comment, Lucien Taylor was confused.
“She needs proper rest.”
Lucien Taylor turned back and looked at the thin figure that was sleeping on the bed as if she was dead. She was breathing calmly but didn’t react or respond. She was staring at the ceiling without any hint of expression.
“Excuse me, Mr Taylor.” The doctor left the suit.
Lucien Taylor closed the door and walked to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed beside her and put his palm on her forehead. Her eyes didn’t move but continued staring at the ceiling.
“Meesha.” He caressed her cheek and called her name in his magnetic voice. Meesha Kyle turned dry her eyes and looked into his gentle eye……
