Alright guys, I'm going to try to keep this author's note short. I've had a question asked on one of my chapters by a reader. So, I'm going to address it here since it isn't going onto a reply directly to the comment asking it. Rowena is mute by choice and circumstance. Also, yes, she is only 12 years old, I had her birthday set sometime in November when I started the story but that was back in 2014 and have since forgotten what day in November.
