Since Angel spent the night in my apartment, I haven't heard from him. Mary called me and told me that Angel and Dad talked for a while while playing chess. And I thought the company was their main topic.

"You look worried," Amelia said, and I didn't realize that she had arrived at my office.

"About many things these days, really. Tell me, do you have something about Elisa?"

Amelia gave me a blank look. "Sofia, I just started doing that. Please be kind and give me some time."

"I have no time, Amelia. I feel like every minute that passes, she's the one winning," I said in desperation.
