Harper had his legs wrapped around Amelie’s waist and his little arms around her neck. She was holding him protectively as well. No one was going to take Amelie away from the little Alpha. At least I was not, and Harper knew it.

I did not contradict my pup in front of Kevin and Moosic. I only smiled, showing some teeth to scare them a little. Something tells me one of them told Amelie about my engagement with Paige. It is not a secret, but it irritated me that someone else meddled in our affairs.
