Wendy's POV

"I would like to clarify my position," I remarked, advancing to the center of the hall. "I am present as a collaborator—not as an object of ownership. My intention is to share my skills, intellect, and resources with those who recognize that true strength lies in partnerships rather than in possession."

I observed the expressions of the Alphas; some appeared unsettled by my statement, while others seemed somewhat satisfied. Out of the corner of my eye, I noted George, who continued to focus his gaze on me.

"That is an improvement, at least," Zane, the Alpha beside me, commented after Brittany departed in haste.

Six of the Alphas agreed while the remainder appeared to struggle with accepting my decision.
