Aura sat and spun the blue helmet between her legs. She was thinking how simple everything was when she had it on. “They’ll recover,” she said after a long pause. She tried to convince herself, “You’ll see. Articles will pop up from two years ago, hinting at my decision. A couple of bloggers will claim they saw it coming.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah,” she said with a wavering voice.
