Chapter 40: Lauren's POV

Hey everyone! I'm relatively new to writing. I've read books where the characters were so infuriating or where the bad guys kept getting their way, so I stopped reading the book. If you're familiar with this experience, please let me know if you ever experience it while reading any of my books. I don't want my books to make people feel that way (of course I know I can't be responsible for other people's feelings, but you know what I mean). ♥︎♥︎I dislike Lauren, but I think it was clear from the beginning that Charlotte is not one to sit back and let people walk all over her?
