I sat down on the bed beside him and started to unbutton his shirt. Earlier Raphael and Ash had done as best as they could by binding his arm with the bandages we had found in the bathroom to stop the bleeding until the doctor came. But now those bandages were soaked through with blood, and now as I unwrapped those soiled bandages I winced when he made a rough sound deep in his chest as they got stuck to his wound.
Back of my eyes stung with tears for his pain and I muttered an apology as I helped him out of the shirt too. And then I sucked in an agonised breath when I saw his torso. The once gleaming, golden and smooth muscled chest of his was now covered in different shades bruises and there was blood dried up on his right pectoral under his sho……
