CHAPTER 2

Cassie ran her fingers through her father’s hair.

“You have a little more grey this time,” she giggled.

David chuckled, squeezing his daughter tightly.

“Ahh, I’ve sure missed you, kiddo,” he replied, holding his daughter tightly.

Mike sucked in his breath, surprised by the feelings that circled his body at the sight of Cassie. He knew that she was attractive, but something about her had changed over the last year. She looked far more seductive, he thought – and perhaps, experienced.

Shaking off the flood of heat that he felt in his belly, he walked over to Cassie and gently pulled her against his broad chest. He felt her tender, young body grow tense at his touch.

His fingers lingered on the small of her back, as she lightly kissed his cheek.
