Tiberius POV
“I mean, what else can I do to convince her?” I asked, sighing. I reclined in the rocking chair on Mordecai’s modest cottage. He’d never been the type to want many kids, so he’d been happy to take up one of the smaller accommodations on the pack grounds. We were nestled deep in the woods, the nearest neighbors were half a mile away, and the girls were inside getting ready to go watch some wood burn. “She still looks at him like her Alpha.”
“It’s hard to blame her, I guess,” Cai replied, sipping on a beer. “I mean, she’s looked at him that way since she was a pup.”
“He hit her though.” I’d said it at least three times now- which was making this conversation very cyclical. I just couldn’t get it in my head why she would want to go back to a man that had beat her up bad en……
