I thought she was been stubborn and she was looking for ways to wiggle away from the confrontation and I didn't want to make it easy for her. My nonchalant and rigid attitude only lasted a moment before my heart was captured by her tears.

I wanted to understand why she was crying but the reason does not matter. She was simply going through a lot and her vulnerability practically broke me. I immediately wanted to protect her, dry her tears and promise her she would never have to cry when she is with me and that she should forget all her worries.

I kissed her tears and then her lips, I have wanted to do it for so long now. I knew it was going to happen soon enough. I kissed her so deeply that she would see my sincerity in it.
